Terms of Service

These terms cover the Vidmoji Android app and this website. Creating an account or using the app means you agree to them. The Privacy Policy is part of the same agreement.

What Vidmoji is

Vidmoji keeps photos and videos on your phone, matches them while you type, and lets you publish a profile. A floating bubble can offer a match from another app and attach the photo or video. Vidmoji is not a keyboard. It does not replace the keyboard on your phone, it does not save keystrokes, and it does not post for you.

Your photos and videos

You keep the rights to the media you add. Only add photos and videos you have the right to use, and only publish ones you have the right to share. Imports and drafts stay on the device. A vidmoji you publish is stored with your account.

The camera and microphone are used only when you record inside Vidmoji. They are not used in the background.

Your rights and ours

You keep ownership of the photos and videos you add. Vidmoji does not take ownership of them.

When you publish, you give Vidmoji a license to host, store, and display that vidmoji as you set it. A public vidmoji may be shown to other people. A private one stays on your account. The license lasts while the vidmoji remains on your account. A copy someone has already saved, or a file you already shared into another app, can remain with them.

You allow Vidmoji to show the Vidmoji name or logo with a vidmoji in the app and when it is shared from the app. That branding marks it as shared from Vidmoji. It does not move ownership of your photo or video to us.

Vidmoji owns the app, this website, and the Vidmoji name and logo. Using the app does not give you those.

Copyright

Only add photos, videos, music, and other material you have the right to use. Do not upload someone else’s copyrighted work without permission. You can report a vidmoji for ownership in the app, or email info@vidmoji.com. We can remove that material and suspend an account that keeps posting work it does not have the right to share.

Publishing

When you publish, you choose public or private, an age rating of general or 13 and older, and whether the vidmoji was made or edited with AI. Mark it as AI when that is true. A public vidmoji can be seen by other people. A private one stays on your account. You can allow or turn off likes, comments, and sharing for that vidmoji.

A public file can be opened by anyone who has its link. Photos are JPEG and videos are MP4, up to 80 MB.

Paid vidmojis and Plus

A paid vidmoji is meant to be part of that creator’s profile subscription. One payment is meant to unlock every paid vidmoji on that profile. Plus is a badge you can choose on the account. Billing for Plus and for creator subscriptions is not live. Choosing Plus, or typing a price, does not charge a card.

The bubble

The bubble needs Accessibility and permission to display over other apps. The app explains the accessibility service before those settings open. It reads the text already in the focused field so it can match the last word, then it can remove that word when you tap a match. Password fields are skipped. Vidmoji does not save the keys you press. Some apps will not accept an attached photo or video. When that happens, Vidmoji shows a share or copy step. You can turn the bubble off in Settings.

Age

Create an account only if you are 13 or older. The Under 13 choice is a filter on this phone, not a children’s account and not a date of birth. It limits Home, the library, the player, and the bubble to general vidmojis, and that device can only publish general content. 13 or older can see vidmojis rated 13 and older. You are responsible for the choice on the device. It is not checked against an ID.

Accounts

You can sign in with email, Google, or Facebook. The name and handle on your profile, and the name on your comments, can be seen by other people. If you subscribe to a creator, that creator can see the name from your profile on their subscriber list.

Delete account, on the Account screen, removes the sign-in and the account data described in the Privacy Policy. Photos and videos saved only on the phone stay on the phone.

Instagram is optional. You can type a handle, or connect a professional Instagram account that is linked to a Facebook Page. The app works without it. Connecting does not let Vidmoji post to your Instagram. If you share a vidmoji, you choose the app, and that post is yours.

Storage and data charges

Imports, drafts, and downloads use space on your phone. Publishing uses space for your account. Vidmoji is not responsible for a full device, for files lost on the phone, or for the storage the app uses.

Playback, upload, and download use your internet connection. You can limit some of that to Wi-Fi in settings. Vidmoji is not responsible for data charges from your mobile carrier.

Reports and blocks

You can block a creator. Their vidmojis leave your catalog. You can report a vidmoji for someone else’s ownership, sexual content, violence, hate, harassment, harmful acts, misinformation, child abuse, spam, or a legal issue. An ownership report can include the name you give. We can review a report, hide the vidmoji, and suspend an account.

Acceptable use

Use Vidmoji lawfully. Do not harass people, publish someone else’s private media, sexual content involving minors, hateful content, or anything you do not have the right to share. Do not post pornography or other explicit sexual content. General and 13-and-older are the only ratings, and neither rating is for adult sexual content. Do not use offensive, abusive, or harassing language in a title, description, tag, or comment. Do not mislabel a vidmoji that was made or edited with AI. We can remove content and suspend an account that breaks these terms.

The website

This site describes the app and holds these terms and the privacy policy. The catalog and the bubble run in the app.

The service

Vidmoji is provided as it is. Features can change, including before billing starts. We can refuse or remove content that breaks these terms.

Changes

We can update these terms. The date at the top of this page is the date of the current version. Using Vidmoji after that date means you accept that version.
